  • Human-form Description

    It is not only fine feathers that make fine birds...

    Lysalin is a rather tall young girl with short, dark hair. With her thick eyelashes, her small nose, and thin lips, some would say that she has a somewhat harmonious face. Around the edges of her face, a few dark feathers seemed attached to her skin and fade away in her hair. Similar feathers are scattered around her body here and there, but they seem to be prominent around her neck and arms. Her ears are also covered with feathers, which make her ears look pointy and long. She has rather sharp nails and big hands. She likes to wear simple clothes with a good amount of jewels and accessories (like bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc.). She’s a quiet person by nature but can get pretty wild and assertive when the situation asks for it. It takes time for her to open up to others about her personal life, but it doesn’t mean that she dislikes people.

  • Harpy-Form Description

    A leering, sneering obscene little harpy…

    When taking off her amulet, Lysalin can morph into her true harpy body. When she does so, her harmonious face gets slightly harsher to the eyes. Her brows muscles get tenser and make her brow look as if they were constantly frowning. Her teeth grow and get sharper while her arms get completely covered in feathers until all you can see are gigantic brown wings. Her wings act as an extension of her arms: In other words, her arms get transformed into wings. Her legs will crack a few times before transforming into giant zygodactyl feet with sharp claws.

    When in her full-harpy form, her arms are almost doubled in length and her feathers grow three times longer. Her immense wings make her a great flying unit and her claws a fearsome enemy. She gains a few centimeters when morphing because her zygodactyl feet elevate her slightly. Harpies can sing, like sirens and mermaids, to lure enemies into following orders. Though, Lysalin's songs can only affect someone for a few seconds. She dislikes long-ranged combats because it is impossible for her to defend herself in those situations. She prefers to fight at a close-range distance and with high (or no) roofs, that way she can fly into the sky and attack from above.

    • Physical Weakness(es): Can’t swim fast (because of her feathers), Eats in a very gluttonous way (like a carnivorous bird would chew on a flesh), Her wings are rather fragile when she is into her harpy form, Can’t taste the spices in dishes
    • Physical Strength(s): Has great flying skills, Is not afraid of heights, Has great vision (can see small details at a 2 kilometers range), Great knowledge of winds and meteorological events connected to wind (can approximately predict if a storm or if rain will come just from looking/feeling the wind), Can lure people with her songs (only for a few seconds, her songs are not comparable to sirens’ ones)
